Summary

Description

Hire a local painter or photographer to create a new design for t-shirts or posters. The original could be displayed at the Visitor’s Center or sold at an auction and the proceeds would go toward restoration of the peninsula or Kilpatrick Pond. Students could spend part of a day on the visitor’s center deck or down by the creek drawing, painting or taking photographs.

The project outcome will be an original design inspired by Silver Creek that can be used as a T-shirt design or sold to support restoration efforts. The students will come down and create their own paintings drawings or photographs.

The students could also donate their signed artwork as a community service component.
