WRHS Studio Art students (and members of the “Bluebird” club – sponsored by NAMI) will be painting birdhouses for a public exhibition that brings about awareness of mental health. Tentatively the airport in Hailey will be the venue for this show. Studio Art students will be challenged by researching their favorite historically famous artists who have/had suffered from mental illness/depression. Students will reinterpret one of their favorite paintings (2-D) by the artist they selected onto a three-dimensional surface (birdhouse).
