Moments of Remembering is about taking the time to honor the individuals in the Wood River Valley who are experiencing a life threatening/serious illness and perhaps could use an encouraging note or item to remind them that they are not forgotten, disenfranchised, and are valued by our community.

We are looking for a monthly project that can be delivered to our hospice office in Ketchum and from there we will be dispersing the items to our patients that live throughout Blaine County. Ideas for moments of remembering include- notes for Thanksgiving, an art project to present to Veterans for Veterans Day/Memorial Day; paper origami cranes that symbolize a wish (Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes); Holiday/Christmas note; Candles to symbolize hope; any other idea that can correspond to the holidays and time of year with notes/projects. We average 55 patients/day, so having approximately 50 of each thing would be ideal.
