Our shelter almost always has kids just like you living here. As I write this, there are 17 kids living in shelter! They need fun activities to do! Get creative with this project. Let’s make some activity packets! We’ll work together to come up with the activities, buy the supplies, and put them together with instructions.
We could also use some more fun equipment at the shelter. Some ideas include, a basketball hoop, giant jenga, a slackline, four square balls, footballs etc. Think about the equipment you have at recess! Your class could come up with the items, and then take a field trip to the shelter, take a tour and set them up!
