New Project

Play and learn with robots! Help library patrons of all ages use a new 3D printer, build small robots (and do robotic coding) and all things STEM!

Together we will build an interactive and innovative new technology library program! Wow-Students will be able to learn, and then transpire knowledge to library patrons regarding robots, 3D printers, coding, circuits and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) experiments. Patrons of all ages will be needing help utilizing our new printer, and kids will have a wonderful time learning about new technology based (learning) gadgets.

Included in our new program will be the Ozobot, 3D Viewmaster interactive experience (powered by a smart phone), snap circuits and Sphero 2.0 robot. Students can also try to create an afterschool STEM curriculum which engages elementary aged kids with science books and on site experiments. Legos and building competitions abound, as well as exploding volocanoes, weather experiments and graphing galore!
