Cleaning up Deer Creek after the fire!

Description

Trout Unlimited, the Idaho Conservation League, and the US Forest Service are embarking on a large-scale restoration project on Deer Creek.

Deer Creek was severely impacted by the 2013 Beaver Creek Fire. Over two-thirds of the entire drainage was burned. Trout Unlimited and project partners are undertaking a large-scale restoration project on Deer Creek during the next 2-3 years. Project activities will include riparian and floodplain restoration, stream channel reconstruction, fish passage work, road and trail reconstruction, and extensive riparian and upland plantings.
