The Bloom truck travels all over the Wood River Valley during the summer months, and provides is a mobile library to children. Books and Bucks for Bloom will bring library books to kids and also help with the ongoing operational costs. It takes a lot more than just books to run a mobile library on wheels. Bloom also needs a laptop, a remote internet connection, a librarian, supplies for activities, and gasoline.

Classes and students may help with Books and Bucks for Bloom in a couple of ways:

  • Students may plan and host their own fundraiser to supplement their Wow Funds and donate these funds to Books and Bucks for Bloom.
  • We’ll visit your classroom and host a bookmark making session where kids highlight a recommended read. These bookmarks will be distributed to kids visiting Bloom during the summer. Your funds will be used to buy new books or replace old ones and for operational costs.
  • Other Ideas? Contact us and we’ll see how we can work with you and your students.
