The Jr. Adoption Counselor Project is perfect for students who want to learn more about the importance of caring for shelter animals. This class will learn about the benefits of adopting and caring for a pet. The goal of this project is to help students better understand how animals enrich our lives and how to share this information with others.

The Shelter’s Program Coordinator will work with the students to help them understand the purpose of the Animal Shelter and the ways we inform the community about the animals available for adoption.

Students will break up into three groups and create three posters or videos about why people should adopt small animals, cats, and dogs.
