Art and photography are powerful tools to communicate the importance of conservation of the places we all love.

Students could spend part of a day on the visitor’s center deck or down by the creek drawing, painting or taking photographs.

The project outcome will be an original design inspired by Silver Creek that can be used in magazines and letters, as a T-shirt design or on cards sold to support restoration efforts. The students will come down and create their own paintings drawings or photographs.

The students could also donate their signed artwork as a community service component.
